Web Soil
The web soil survey was a completely new experience for me. In a way, it reminded me a lot of GIS. Before this, I was never aware that my county, speaking from a soil survey standpoint, was split up into three categories. As I played around more with the results, it made sense. Some parts of my area are coastal, others has more acidity, and then my area has a good mix of everything. When it comes to restoring native vegetation, it makes me wonder if an outside source brought in different soils to try in the gardens previously. It would explain why my luck with the gardens isn't going to well.
